This is a short privacy policy because we do very little with your data.

MWL is a comedy advertising agency based at 12448 Flatlands Ave, Brooklyn, New York 11239. This policy covers visitors to mwlglobal.com and people who contact us, book a call, work with us, or apply to work with us.

What we collect

What you send us. If you fill in a form, book a call or email us, we get your name, email address, company, and whatever you write. If you book through our scheduling tool, we also get the time you picked.

Standard technical information. Our web host and Google Analytics log your IP address, browser and device type, which pages you looked at, how long you stayed, and where you came from. We use this to see how the site is performing, not to work out who you are.

That’s the whole list. We don’t ask for anything else, and we’d rather you didn’t send it.

What we do with it

We reply to you. If we end up working together, we use it to do the work, run the project, and send invoices. If you ask us to keep you posted, we’ll email you, and every email we send will have an unsubscribe link that actually works.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information. We don’t rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers. We don’t run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site, so nothing you do here follows you around the internet.

We share information only with the services that run our business — web hosting, Google Analytics, our scheduling tool, email, accounting — and with the directors, editors, cast and crew working on a project you’ve hired us for, and then only what they need to do their part.

We’ll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, or to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights. If MWL is ever sold or merged, information would transfer with the business.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that don’t turn into projects: about two years from the last time we spoke. Client records: the length of the engagement plus seven years, because taxes. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your rights

Email hello@mwlglobal.com and ask what we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll do it within 45 days.

This applies to everyone, not just people in California or Europe, because keeping two sets of rules seemed like more work than just being decent about it.

Cookies

Google Analytics and our scheduling tool set cookies. Your browser can block or delete them, and most browsers support Global Privacy Control, which we honor. We’d rather tell you that than have you find out later.

Children

This is a website for companies that buy advertising. We don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If we’ve done it by accident, email hello@mwlglobal.com and it’s gone.

Where your data goes

We’re in the United States and so are our service providers. If you’re somewhere else, your information will be processed here, where privacy laws may be different from your own.

Other people’s websites

Our site and our work link out to places we don’t control — client sites, YouTube, Vimeo, social platforms. This policy stops at our edge. Read theirs.

Changes

If we change this, we’ll change the date at the top.
